A kind Witch ignores the concerns of her long-suffering companion, a wonderful Cat, and invites more and more animals to join them on her broom. But how will the gang overcome the fearsome Dragon whose favourite dinner is Witch and Chips? Janet, a Smed, and Bill, a Smoo meet in the Wurpular Wood and fall in love. But their families, who have long harboured disapproval for each other, cannot celebrate their young love. When Bill and Janet elope, the warring families must overcome their differences, and work together to recover Bill and Janet lost in the universe.

The Wild Robot" follows Rozzum 7134 ("Roz" for short), a futuristic robot that washes ashore on a deserted island. A tale of survival and discovery begins when she becomes the unexpected protector to an orphaned gosling, which she names Brightbill. Together they struggle to survive the harsh environment, but only succeed with the help of a close-knit group of misfit animals, who become first friends, then family. Ultimately Roz and company save the island from a robotic invasion by Roz's manufacturer, looking to bring her back to civilization by any means necessary.
